The Official Plan of the
Oakville Planning Area is the principal policy statement regarding the future
development of the Oakville Real Estate. It provides direction for official
bodies, private interests, and the community at large to ensure proper
coordination of decisions and activities of both the public and private sectors
of the Oakville Real Estate community. In particular, it is intended to be a
guide for the Council of the Town of Oakville in the exercise of those powers
conferred upon it by the Planning Act, The Municipal Act, and The
Regional Municipality of Halton Act.

Town of Oakville Zoning By-Law
Zoning By-law 1984-063 is the Town’s
comprehensive Zoning By-law, which deals with permitted uses of land and
buildings on all properties in the Town of Oakville. The Zoning By-law is
intended to help implement the goals, objectives and policies of the Town of
Oakville Official Plan for Oakville Real Estate matters.

Town of Oakville Land Use Planning Applications and Forms
