The 5^th annual Castlebrook-Millrun Easter egg hunt was another success this year. The event took place in one of the 'Oakville Real Estate' markets popular West Oak Trails neighbourhoods. This is just one of the annual events that that you will see in many of the great neighbourhoods throughout the 'Oakville Real Estate' area.

The Easter egg hunt was organized by friends and neighbours for all the children living in the area. Participating families hide treats for the kids all around their homes and in their front yards. The organizers also provide Tim Hortons Coffee and assorted snacks for the adults to enjoy while the kids are having fun.

All the kids from the street and neighbouring streets eagerly arrived with their Easter baskets in anticipation of gathering lots chocolate eggs and candy. This year about 40 children and their parents attended the event. The Easter egg hunt takes place rain or shine, and fortunately, this year, the rain stayed away. The event had been dampened by rain  twice in previous years.

Once the kids had finished gathering all the treats, many of the boys grabbed their sticks and nets and played a pretty intense game of road hockey throughout the afternoon. The girls skipped and played, while the adults had some time to socialize.

One of the great things about living in one of the many popular neighbourhoods within the 'Oakville Real Estate' market is the real sense of community that you feel there. It is events like these that give neighbours the opportunity to really get to know one another a little better, and help build up the sense of community. Thanks to everyone who helped organize things, contributed to the event, and came out for some fun.
